This dog nail grinder is the best pet purchase I've made this year. My 45lb lab used to panic with clippers, but this grinder is so quiet that she just lays there now. Huge stress relief for both of us.The LED light is brilliant - I can actually see the quick on her dark nails, so no more guessing or accidents. 4 speeds are perfect: start on low to introduce it, then bump it up for her thick nails. It's cordless and rechargeable, so I can trim her anywhere without fighting a cord.Comes with the guard and extra grinding bits, and it works great on my cat too with the smaller port. Battery lasts through multiple pets on one charge. Leaves nails smooth with no sharp edges.
I have been in need of a dog nail grinder to use between grooming appointments, but it was difficult to find a quiet one. My dog is very sensitive to loud noises and she does not like her nails being trimmed, so it was hard for me to find something that would work for her.I have used this on her twice and it works wonderfully. It has a light, so you can see exactly what you are doing. It is quiet enough that my dog does not run away when she hears it.The first time I used this grinder on her, she complained a little, but got used to it quickly.I highly suggest using this on yourself first to get the hang of it and then using it on your dog. It feels a little odd to use if you have never used one before, but after a minute you get used to it.In less than five minutes I am able to grind down all of my dogs nails. This grinder feels very durable and sturdy. I do not see it failing anytime soon.It is nice that there is a polishing bit included so your dog does not have to deal with harsh nail edges. Also, there is a safety cover included. It is secured over the bit, and you twist and pull up to take it off. This is a very nice feature and I can store it safely without worrying about anything happening to the bit. There is also a cover for additional protection that goes over the bit and the protector so I can store it without the safety piece or bit being exposed.Overall this nail grinder works really well and it is not too loud for my noise-sensitive dog.I highly recommend this dog nail grinder.
I needed a new dog nail grinder and this one works well and the vibration was low. Although my dog does not have issues with noise, this is fairly quiet for those that do. This is sized as stated and relatively lightweight. I like that it's rechargeable so I'm not running through batteries. The light makes it easier to see what you're doing. The dust cap was helpful yet could be larger. This runs for a long time before needing to be charged. Charging was pretty fast. This is a good price for a decent, easy-to-use dog nail grinder.
I really like this Dog Nail Grinder. It is lightweight and easy to handle which is helpful when dealing with a nervous dog.Operation is straightforward and uncomplicated, just a couple of buttons to control on/off a d speed. There are two different guards to put over the grinder according to the dog's nail size. I live the versatility of that! The motor is very quiet and vibration is minimal. It took several tries to get my dog used to it but now she doesn't mind at all when I trim her nails. This is HUGE for me because for years she has not let me get anywhere near her with any kind of attempt to trim her nails.I particularly like that there is a laser on the device that lights up the nail so you can see the quick allowing you to stop before going that low. I know my dog appreciates that too!USB charging makes this so easy to have teady at any time and it seems to hold a charge for a long time.Over alk this is a solid design, convenient grooming toil with nice extras at a fantastic and affordable price!
I'm a bit confused by this dog nail grinder. The listing calls it a nail grinder, but the instructions keep referring to it as a nail polisher, which makes it unclear what it's really designed to do.One positive is that it's very quiet, which is great if you have pets that are sensitive to noise. It also has a built-in light, which is helpful, but not necessarily while actively grinding. I found myself stopping to use the light to check how much more I could file rather than using it during the process.I'm also not sure what the purpose of the UV light or the laser pointer is - they don't seem very practical for nail trimming.Performance-wise, it took longer to file my dog's nails compared to other grinders I've used that have disposable sanding attachments.Overall, it feels like a good concept with some interesting features, but it needs quite a few improvements to be truly effective and user-friendly.
